Welcome to my website! I am Carole Chetrit, swim instructor and aquatic fitness instructor & consultant for Stanford University's Recreation and Wellness department for the past 11 years. I am in charge of coaching their intramural swim team, students, faculty, staff & alumni year round. I have created and implemented my aquatic programming for Stanford University and other local affiliations. My programs are specific to mastering the proper body mechanics for success, core muscle development to support overall health, stability, posture, balance, flexibility, cardio/respiratory endurance, fat loss, confidence and sense of pride & well-being. I have also designed & developed a core studio class with similar goals called "Stand Tall & Strong" with the added element of attempting to reduce ones chances of falling by improving balance & stability.

As a swimmer for many years I am passionate about the fitness  benefits it offers as well as addressing water safety. I highly encourage the practice of daily fitness routines including a variety of cross-training as exercise encourages a strong mental & physical foundation with unlimited benefits. I reside in Redwood City with my three children who support and encourage my efforts to bring enjoyment & happiness through swimming & fitness.

I support each student in their efforts to enhance intrinsic motivation while maximizing enjoyment and engagement in the process of physical activity or rehabilitation. My goal is for each participant to feel empowered with positive attitudes of confidence, strength, success, persistence, joy and accomplishment.

I love all aquatic exercise and low impact fitness on land! It brings me happiness to share my passions with all ages and fitness levels!
